prinkler mains and drops are prefabricated with the rest of the ceiling grid system to greatly simplify fab construction, saving time and preventing contamination. In use, this factory installed sprinkler system makes reconfiguration easy. Simply use the drops you need and plug the ones you don’t.

Clean-Flex uses quick-response, FM-approved sprinkler heads and o-rings at every head to create an air-tight barrier so that separate sprinkler pans are not needed. Specially-sized filters at sprinkler fittings are not required. Sprinkler heads and bushings are also available.

Clean-Flex takes up less space, eliminating the need for interstitial piping and sprinkler supports, and reduces field-installed main piping by 80 percent. It protects against seismic activity and vibration. It also reduces freight cost because the tilt-up main can be collapsed to stack grid for easy shipping.

Clean-Flex™, the first through-grid FM-approved flexible fire protection system, is Clean-Trak’s most cost-effective fire protection option. As needs change, Clean-Flex allows you to easily move the location of sprinkler heads in minutes without installing new piping.  The Clean-Flex hose is ISO-10380 approved (50,000 cycles); hydro-formed, not mechanically formed; and has a 3.35 inch bend radius, so it works well in congested wall areas and gowning or equipment enclosures.  The Factory Mutual approval report contains friction (head) loss information.
